ABOUT ME
My name is Michael Chapman and I am an English language proofreader and copyeditor based in Budapest, Hungary. After spending over 20 years in the classroom as an English language instructor, I retrained and transitioned to full-time proofreading and copyediting in 2020. Since then, I have collaborated with a number of clients, agencies and institutions on a wide range of topics that include both fiction and non-fiction and which include the humanities, academic, medical and marketing materials.

Outside of my professional life, I like to enjoy my time at Lake Balaton where I might rustle something up on the BBQ, noodle on my guitar or play around on my CNC machine making inlay chopping boards.
